REGULAR SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
We publish creative works of writers of all races and diverse worldviews, and we do this every week. We don't charge submission fee and we don't pay contributors.
We accept ONLY unpublished works in the following categories (word count indicated):
Short Story: 2500 words (max)
Flash Fiction: 800 words (max)
Poetry: 3 poems (maximum of 2 pages each)
Article/Essay: 2500 words (max)
If you desire to publish your story in series, kindly send us an email via fieryscribereview@gmail.com.
We pay great attention to genre fiction, but also appreciate literary fiction. It's only important that you show creativity and originality in your craft.
We allow simultaneous submissions. But, please, notify us and withdraw your piece if your work is picked up elsewhere; if you withdraw your work, you may submit another piece in the same genre.
We don't accept multiple submissions in the same category. Hence, send only one piece of fiction at a time—flash and short—until you get a response from us.
For Articles/Essays, we publish works that reflect the general human conditions.
If your work is declined, you can submit again. We are open all year.
Send your works via Word Document (doc or docx). We don't accept PDFs. For paintings kindly send in jpeg, jpg, or pdf.
Submissions should be in 12 point, Times New Roman font face or Garamond. Single-spaced.
Title your document and include your name e.g., Road to Argos by Dapo Alemi.
Include a brief cover letter stating genre, word count and what your work is about. Also include your biographical information (100 words max).
You can include your photograph—playful, if you like.
We loathe discrimination and stereotypes; works found containing such will be declined immediately.
We don't accept eroticas.
Don't submit to our email. All submissions must be made through the form at the bottom of this page. Poetry submissions may (if you like) be sent via email in this format
