How did you become a writer?
I have always been a writer. I didn't just become one overnight. However, I won't deny the fact that I only began applying professionalism to my writing around June 2021.
Share your writing journey so far.
After high school, finally getting a phone made me realize that there's a complete world out of sharing stories amongst classmates. I realized I could share it with the world, and, till now, I've been sharing my contents on my Facebook page, named Wonder Fictitious Products.
But, then, I had no motive, too. I was just a scalar entity; I had the talent, but, no direction.
However, that ended when a friend forced me into a one-month bootcamp in June 2021, though I protested against it.
Ever since then, I've been consistently learning the writing craft, under the mentorship of Sir Stanley Umezulike. And, so far, I'm glad I met him.
What is your biggest fear as a writer?.
Not being able to impact my readers, and, fellow writers, too.
What writing advice do you heed the most?
The advice I adhere to, the most, is to always have my readers in mind when writing. Yes, I feel fulfilled, every time I write, but, I just can't ignore the second side of the coin—the readers.
What inspired your writing Strong Verbs for Writers?
Well, I started the Strong Verbs For Writers series because of myself. It all started some months ago when I was writing my debut novel, titled Every Man's Target. Then, I realized something. Whenever I was writing, it was so easy to write with weak verbs, accompanying them with adverbs. I realized that, though I knew the strong verbs that worked for the piece I was writing, I always forgot them whenever I'm in the writing mode. I thought it would improve in the editing stage, but the nightmare only grew. Then, I realised a theory: Strong Verbs are very creepy. Creepy enough to run off a writer's brain whenever he's writing or editing.
I knew, just then, that my problems weren't unique to me. I knew there would be more writers battling the same, and that was what brought about the SVFW series. I believed that, if a writer could have a collection where he just has to minimise his writing app to extract a useful verb and return to his writing, that would be amazing. And, alas. Here we go!
Your book targets the description of hand movements. Should we expect more books focusing on other body parts?
Actually, prior to writing the ‘Strong Verbs for Writers—Arms’ in May, I'd already published SVFWLEGS, which describes the movement of the legs. That was in January 2022. And, currently, I'm working on the SVFW Sounds, where I'm compiling the list of strong verbs that describes the production of sounds.

How do you dig up inspiration when nothing’s working?
This may sound funny, but, all I do is DEPEND ON THAT NOTHING. Since "nothing" is the only thing working, I tend to build my ideas around nothing. Also, most of the time, I practice freewriting, depending solely on and putting down whatever my brain sweeps my way.
What advice would you give to beginners?
My advice to every beginner out there is that, if truly you want to make an impact, then don't skip the process. If you skip the process, you'll cash some limited-time money into your pocket, but, you would be denying yourself the prominence you need to thrive in this
writerhood. And, never stop learning.
